Naval Battalion's Effort Yields Team Success

US Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Five, DETAIL CHINHAE would like to share our campaign success story with you!

Currently we have 23 members on our Det, (all of whom have registered with militarysaves) and out of them 16 are planning for retirement by saving and investing money in the Federal Thrift Savings Plan. In addition to our TSP investors, we also have 9 service members that have outside IRA accounts; a sure sign that todays generation is aware of our current retirement issues, and doing their part to alleviate their own families from the uncertain financial future in the horizon. We also have 7 members that have invested their finances in Real Estate in various US States, and even countries around the globe.

The US NMCB Five Chaplain spread the good word of your organization to us, and we have since decided to take a stand with you and others to positively support our economic situation, by educating our members and spreading the word to our families and friends.

We have held various financial training lectures on topics such as "Investing for our Future" where we bring to light the problems of todays generations; specifically their lack of financial planning and the debt crisis, also "The Soldiers and Sailors Relief Act", in which our deployed troops can take advantage of and knock down some of their interest rates to 0-6% and pay down their balances rapidly. We have also signed up 11 members of our detachment for a personal investment class offered by University of Maryland University College. So as you can see, we are hitting the military savers month hard and heavy!
